FAQ

What is an Enrolled Agent (EA)?

An Enrolled Agent is a federally licensed tax professional authorized by the IRS to represent taxpayers in all matters, including audits, collections, and appeals. It is the highest credential awarded by the IRS. As EAs, we are trained in U.S. tax law, undergo continuing education, and are empowered to represent you in all 50 states.

How is Elite American Tax different from other tax offices?

We’re more than just a seasonal tax prep service — we’re licensed Enrolled Agents with over 15 years of experience and more than 12,000 clients served. We focus on accuracy, compliance, and year-round support. We’re also fully bilingual (English/Spanish) and committed to building long-term relationships with our clients.

Do you only prepare personal tax returns?

No. We provide full-service support including:

  • Personal and business tax returns
  • Bookkeeping and payroll
  • Business registration and licensing
  • IRS representation and resolution
  • FBAR and international tax filings
  • Year-round tax planning and strategy

Can you help if I received a letter from the IRS?

Yes! As Enrolled Agents, we are authorized to represent you directly before the IRS. Whether it’s an audit, a penalty notice, or back taxes, we’ll assess your case and guide you through the resolution process.

Do you work with clients outside of Nevada?

Absolutely. We work with clients across all 50 states and also support individuals with international filing requirements.
